In development by quirky indie game label Celery Emblem with Jacob Jazz, FEAR FA 98 mixes the gore and monsters of Silent Hill with the classic soccer action of FIFA 98. The experience is targeted at nostalgics of the late 90s, thanks to fuzzy 3D models and grainy camera modes. It will take you back to those good afternoons when 3D football arcade action was all the rage and gorey games were aplenty.

An arcade-style multiplayer horror beat ’em up based on Damien Leone’s cult-classic Terrifier horror movie franchise has been announced and is slated for release in 2025. Developed by Relevo and published by Selecta Play, the “blood-soaked retro beat ’em up” is a seemingly authentic retro experience. The reveal ties in perfectly as Terriifer 3 comes to movie theatres worldwide.

Bloober Team’s reimagining of the classic 2001 survival horror Silent Hill 2 seems to have captured both fans’ and critics’ imaginations. With a current Metacritic score of 87, the Polish team seems to have succeeded in updating a classic 20+ years old game for a modern audience, while also keeping its foggy atmosphere intact. The way is paved, then, for possible new remakes for other games in the series.

As a plot-driven single-player game, you can expect both intense horror and character-driven narrative to occupy your time with the game.

Recently we’ve seen an anti-mobility sentiment emerge from the XDefiant fanbase. Things have become bad enough that players are blocking others who utilise these mechanics to avoid getting them in their games again.
